Where is Bonita Bonita?
Bonita Bonita is at 2460 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach QLD 4218, on the Gold Coast, between Broadbeach and Nobby Beach. Bon Bon Bar is right next door to the restaurant.
What are Bonita Bonita's opening hours?
Lunch is from 12pm to 4pm and dinner from 5pm until late, seven days. Thursday to Saturday we are open right through from 12pm. The kitchen closes at 9pm Monday to Wednesday and 9:30pm Thursday to Sunday.
What time does Bonita Bonita close?
Bonita Bonita is open until late every night. The kitchen closes at 9pm Monday to Wednesday and 9:30pm Thursday to Sunday, and the bar stays open after that. Bon Bon Bar, next door, serves last drinks at midnight on the nights it is open.
When is Bon Bon Bar open?
Bon Bon Bar opens Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 5pm. It can also be hired for private functions.

Is there a surcharge?
A 10% surcharge applies on Saturdays and Sundays, and 15% on public holidays.
Food and drink
What kind of food does Bonita Bonita serve?
Modern Mexican food made to share: classic and premium tacos, quesadillas, share plates such as kingfish ceviche, pork belly and fajitas, and a seven-course banquet.
Are there vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options run through the menu and are marked on it. Only dishes marked GF are gluten free, so please tell us about allergies when you book. The banquet can be adapted for dietary requirements.
How much is the banquet?
Bonita's Banquet is $49 per person for seven courses to share, finishing with a classic taco each. It is served to the whole table, and it is required for groups of 8 or more adults.
How much are the tacos?
Classic tacos are $9.50 each and premium tacos $13 to $14 each. On Taco Tuesday, from 5pm, classic tacos are $6 each, dine in.
When is happy hour?
Margarita hour runs Thursday to Saturday, 4pm to 6pm: $16 classic, coconut and mezcal margaritas and $10 chile con queso, dine in.
Do you do takeaway?
Yes. Order takeaway online through me&u for pickup from the restaurant.
Functions and gifts
Can I hire Bon Bon Bar for a private function?
Yes. Bon Bon Bar holds 30 seated or 50 standing, with exclusive use of the room and its own bar. Food is the $49 banquet or canapés from $59 per person, and drinks packages start at $65 per person for two hours. Every function has a minimum spend that depends on the date.
